As announced, in the last week of January 4Science attented 2 important events on Digital Humanities: AIUCD 2017 e IRCDL 2017.
The slides and the poster presented at these two events are now publicly available:
- In “(Big) Data Science and Historical Archeological Studies: a methodological, technological and cultural challenge” we show how important it is to use Data Science methodologies in historical and archaelogical sciences within an approach aimed at highlighting and analyzing all the contextual associations of documents, monuments and archaelogical records at different levels and scales (see the Conference “Book of Abstracts“);
- With the poster “Extending DSpace to fulfil the requirements of Digital Libraries for Cultural Heritage Management” we presented the new DSpace Add-ons we developed to better manage images, audio/video streaming and OCR (paper).
