4Science is a proud sponsor of the International Open Repositories Conference, which will be next June in Brisbane hosted by the University of Queensland (UQ), Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and Griffith University.
Users and developers of open digital repository platforms will gather together from all over the world and, as every year, they will explore the global challenges and opportunities facing libraries and the broader scholarly information landscape.
Among those experts you will also find the 4Science’s Team. During the Conference we will give 2 presentations, both in the DSpace Interest Group slot.
One will be about the latest release of the open source platform DSpace-CRIS, with its new features and enhancements. The other one will be about an extension of DSpace that, thanks to its enhanced data model, meets very well the challenges of the Cultural Heritage domain. We call it, DSpace-GLAM.
In addition to that we will also introduce our new DSpace Add-ons, such as the integration with CKAN, the images visualization and the video streaming.
We look forward to meeting all of you in Australia!
