“Synergies for Societal Impact in Current Research Information Systems” is a 5-year project (2017-2021), promoted by Federal Institute for Agriculture and Food (Bundesanstalt für Landwirtschaft und Ernährung, BLE). As the central implementing authority, BLE is part of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL). The SynSICRIS project aims to develop a system of social performance of publicly funded research projects. https://www.uni-kassel.de/fb11agrar/en/sections/organic-farming-and-cropping-systems/research/current-research-projects/synsicris-synergies-for-societal-impact-in-current-research-information-systems-2017-2020.html. Partners of this project are the Kassel University (coordinator) and DISY (IT). The SynSICRIS project includes design, prototypical realization, prototypical installation, and a pilot site, end-user test, and validation of a software system. The system design, development, and implementation have been awarded to 4Science as an extension and adaptation of DSpace-CRIS.
